Yesterday I decided to do a little self care and go see a museum. The V & A is my mom’s favorite one in the world, so I knew I had to make the trip there. I was not disappointed. Although this museum is filled to the brim with free exhibits, I paid the extra 10 pounds to see the exhibit dedicated to London fashion through the ages. The garments I saw were beautifully constructed and a perfect gateway into the style of each period in which they were worn.

I was similarly impressed by the photography hall filled with old cameras and portrait shots from the streets of London. The hall of silver work, jewelry, and finely crafted furniture was similarly awe-inspiring. Below I have attached some photos of my favorite pieces in the museum and some beautiful sights I saw nearby.
